Dennis Martire voted into LIUNA role

Dennis Martire began his tenure with the Laborers’ International Union of North America quite humbly. He was a member of his own Local Chapter #1058 out of his native Pittsburgh and dedicated to the organization. In 1990, he increased his responsibilities to LIUNA by becoming a valued employee; he started his 30-year career with them as an international representative for the jurisdictional disputes department. But it didn’t take long for Martire to thrive within the environment.

He became assistant director then director of the laborers’ construction department before earning the role of assistant regional manager of the mid-Atlantic region in 2000. In just two years, Martire was elected to an even better, more responsibility driven, position -- that of vice president and regional manager for the area. Within this elected position, Dennis Martire has blossomed and he’s held the role for two decades, making a difference across communities in the mid-Atlantic of the U.S.
